Ishmam & Sajjad

Sajjad and Ishmam celebrated their nuptials with a rustic garden inspired celebration that was nothing short of breathtaking. The Atrium at The Grounds of Alexandria, had the rustic charm they were after with natural beauty and gardens, all in central Sydney. 

Everything featured at wedding was created especially for them, with their stylist designing and making their order of service, welcome board, chalkboard seating charts and fresh garden feel.

But there's one special touch that has absolutely took everyone’s breath away - the bride’s bespoke lehenga. Ishmam was very particular about all the small details and it only took her one afternoon to realise that having a custom made lehenga was her only option.

With an Australian summer wedding, we suggested Ishmam go for with a light silk organza that moved easily and wouldn’t look to heavy for the climate , time of the wedding and location. The classic look was minimalist by Indian standards but each exquisite hand embellished detail elevated the garment for a dramatic feel that sparkled with her every move. The dupatta featured their names in Bengali that included both her and Sajjad’s names on the Dupatta.
