Manisha and Vasant

When Manisha approached us to help create her dream look for her wedding, she did not want to go down the traditional route. Instead, she after something unique and regal at the same time. The result was anything but boring and suited her eclectic style.

The raw silk lehenga in a champagne-hue features seven and a half metres off fabric with layers of tulle and lining, completely covered with handwork to make geometric shapes with gold gotapatti and finished will hand sewn silk burgundy flowers. It was paired with a burgundy raw silk blouse with mogul geometric accents of hand applied gotapatti. The colours in the lehenga were chosen to compliment Vasant’s ensemble he had organised himself.
