Nishanthi and Sayan
Sayan and Nishanti wanted to celebrate their backgrounds in style via a destination wedding incorporating both their heritage. Nishanti opted for a red Banarasi saree for the traditional wedding and for the evening reception, Nishanti "didn't want to be uncomfortable like trying to lift up my dress or feeling like it's coming off,” so simplicity and function was essential. We created a white on white embellished lehenga encrusted with faceted beads and pearls for cool and classic look. It glimmered from all angles throughout the night. Check out the video below to see how much it glistened from all angles!
The groom wanted to pay homage to his Bengali heritage and asked for us to create a “Punjabi/Pyjama” set for the Bengali ceremony. To elevate the traditional Bengali attire for the groom which can be plain, we took Sayan’s wedding “Punjabi” and rendered our version using a high end woven chanderi silk embellished with gold and sequence zardozi work around the neck for a refined regal finish. We kept it traditional with the collarless make.
